Baby Naming Ceremony

In the tradition of our ancestors, our customs, and ways, we continue on a path of self-determination. We define who we are at birth as magnified by the attributes hoped for in the spirit of life that is passing through. Naming ceremonies begin when babies are 7–8 days old. For some cultures the number 7 stands for the Higher Power and 8 stands for regeneration. The date of your baby naming ceremony will depend on a few factors, including whether you’re following any religious traditions or mores. A baby naming ceremony is all about recognizing those who support you, especially during the early days of parenting. It becomes the catalyst for bringing together the community to commit and invest into this new arrival; to be a support in his or her development as they grow. All vetted will announce to the community their commitment and expectations of how to best support parents and baby.
