Breastfeeding is a personal choice and according to research conducted by experts in the medical field breastfeeding has an enormous number of benefits for both mother and baby that last far past infancy. BA NIA’s breastfeeding consultant will provide breastfeeding education, including a variety of lactation positions, latching on, nipple care, and nutritious recommendations. Did you know that research has shown breastmilk enhances the development of the baby’s brain and may contribute to a higher IQ and better cognitive development?  Who can deny that the best way to nurture your newborn is with breastmilk?  If you have decided that the breast is best, we are here to support your choice. 

Bottle-feeding

Bottle-feeding is also a personal choice, and we understand that some women are unable to breastfeed. We support the choices of our mothers and provide education on bottle-feeding.  We discuss the dos and don’ts of bottle-feeding, including proper ways to warm, feed your baby, and bottle types and usage.  Our goal is to always provide you with up-to-date information and support your choices.
